STAFF ATTORNEY – Legal Aid Services of Oregon (LASO) seeks a Staff Attorney for its Native American Program (NAPOLS) located in Portland. The Staff Attorney will maintain a caseload providing the highest quality legal services to eligible Indian tribes, organizations, and individuals. Experience working in Indian country and knowledge of federal, tribal, and state laws impacting tribal governments and Native people required. Must have excellent legal and communication skills and strong computer, time management, and organizational skills. J.D. and Oregon or other state bar membership required. Prefer experienced attorney, but will consider well-qualified recent law school graduate. Salary DOE. Benefits package includes health insurance. Applications due June 17, 2015.
