The position of Assistant Prosecutor primarily involves working on juvenile delinquency and juvenile prosecution matters, including representing the Crow Tribe in Crow Tribal Court in juvenile delinquency, misdemeanor and felony proceedings; negotiating plea bargains with delinquency respondents and criminal defendants; and reviewing, drafting and making decisions regarding the filing of charging documents in Crow Tribal Court.The Assistant Prosecutor will also assist the Crow Tribal Prosecutor with general prosecution matters and prosecution-related grant funding and administration, including DOJ grants for juvenile justice and sexual offender registration.Interested applicants must be admitted to practice or become admitted to practice in Crow Tribal Court and possess a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school.
