This\nconference is ideal training for attorneys practicing on and near the Navajo\nNation, tribal court advocates, tribal court practitioners, tribal court\nprosecutors, tribal court defenders, tribal council members, Indian law\nattorneys, tribal liaisons, government legislators, Navajo Nation Bar members,\nlaw students, as well as teachers\/professors and students of American Indian\nstudies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Conference Planning Committee welcomes proposals for 30-minute, 60-minute or 90-minute conference presentations or panel discussions. To submit a presentation proposal, please send the following information by&nbsp;<strong>June 17, 2019<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Presenter(s) name, title, contact information, bio<\/li><li>Title of the proposed presentation<\/li><li>A brief (one paragraph) description of the presentation, how the presentation relates to Navajo Law, and a description of the presentation format (example: lecture with Q&amp;A, panel discussion, etc.)<\/li><li>A brief description of what will be or could be distributed to attendees as materials<\/li><li>A two-sentence summary of the presentation for the conference program, if accepted<\/li><li>Length of presentation<\/li><li>Would this session qualify for Navajo Ethics?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will be notified of\ntheir selection by&nbsp;<strong>July 22, 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit your abstract\nhere:&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ilp@asu.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ilp@asu.edu<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;Subject:\nNavajo Law CLE Proposal<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Indian Legal Program at ASU Sandra Day O\u2019Connor College of Law is proud to host the 2019 Navajo Nation Law CLE Conference on&nbsp;Friday, October 25, 2019.
