JOB DESCRIPTION:
\nThe General Counsel Office represents, or oversees the representation of PME in a variety of legal issues including civil and criminal proceeding in Tribal, Federal and State courts, settlement of legal disputes and the negotiation of contracts.
\n<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS:
\nJ.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school. An active member of the Washington State Bar Association and in good standing, or ability to attain membership within six (6) months after employment. Minimum of three (3) years experience with a strong preference for candidates who have experience working in Indian Country. Excellent research and writing skills, attention to detail, and independent problem-solving skills. Experience, or a demonstrated interest, in construction law is a plus, but not required. Tribal and Indian preference applies.<\/p>\n
