Job Purpose<\/span>
\nThe Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Executive Board.<\/p>\n

Leadership<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u2022 Participate with the Executive Board and Tribal Governing Bodies in developing a vision and strategic plan to guide the organization<\/p>\n

\u2022 Identify, assess, and inform the Executive Board of internal and external issues that affect the organization in a timely and routine manner<\/p>\n

\u2022 Act as an advisor to the Executive Board on all aspects of the organization’s activities<\/p>\n

\u2022 Foster effective team work between the Executive Board and the CEO and between the CEO and staff<\/p>\n

\u2022 In addition to serving the Executive Board as spokesperson, as required, act as a spokesperson for the organization in a manner consistent with approved organizational resolutions<\/p>\n

\u2022 Conduct official correspondence on behalf of the Executive Board as appropriate and jointly with the Executive Board when appropriate<\/p>\n
