We represent tribes and tribal entities in a wide spectrum of services including business transactions, litigation and governmental affairs, in many forums, including federal, state, and tribal courts.<\/p>\n

We are seeking an experienced litigation attorney for our Omaha, Nebraska office. Minimum qualifications include:
\n\u2022 Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
\n\u2022 Status as an active member in good standing of the bar with any state jurisdiction and willing to obtain licensure in Nebraska
\n\u2022 Minimum of five (5) years of federal, state or tribal litigation related experience or served as a law clerk to a federal court judge
\n\u2022 Familiarity with tribal and Federal Indian law
\n\u2022 Excellent analytical, research and writing abilities
\n\u2022 Ability to work well independently and as a team in a fast paced environmentIn addition to the minimum qualifications, it is strongly preferred that applicants possess the following skills:
\n\u2022 Litigating cases in federal, state or tribal courts or in administrative proceedings
\n\u2022 Preparing pleadings and briefs, taking and defending discovery, conducting hearings and litigating actions or proceedings through trial
\n\u2022 Knowledge of, and skill applying various state court or federal rules of civil procedure and rules of evidence
\n\u2022 Taking depositions and\/or conducting other examinations of witnesses
