TELL YOUR STORY ABOUT VOTING IN NON-TRIBAL ELECTIONS
\nWe want to hear about your experience in voter registration and voting in federal, state, and local (non-tribal) elections.
\nIssues to be addressed include whether Native voters have opportunities in their communities that are equal to those of
\nnon-Natives or if they experience discrimination in:
\n\u2022 Location of voter registration
\n\u2022 Location of in-person voting
\n\u2022 Voter identification requirements
\n\u2022 Vote-by-mail
\n\u2022 Early voting
\n\u2022 Poll worker opportunities
\n\u2022 Redistricting
\n\u2022 Treatment at the polls
\n\u2022 Language barriers
\n\u2022 Other discrimination<\/p>\n

Witnesses will include tribal leaders, advocates, and voters. If you would like to testify or want more information, please

VOTING RIGHTS IN INDIAN COUNTRY
\nThe Native American Voting Rights Coalition is an alliance of national and grassroots organizations, scholars, and activists
\nadvocating for equal access for Native Americans to the political process. It is holding eld hearings throughout Indian
\nCountry to document barriers to registration and voting in non-tribal elections. Information from the hearings will help
\npromote public education, identify policy solutions, and advance other legal remedies to expand Native access to voting.<\/p>\n
