Attorneys in the firm are licensed in multiple jurisdictions and the Firm has practiced in numerous states, federal and tribal courts.<\/p>\n<p>The Law Clerk position supports the Firm\u2019s clients by applying knowledge of legal concepts and processes.\u00a0 Under the direction of the Firm\u2019s attorneys and staff, the Law Clerk conducts legal research, drafts legal documents and memorandum, assists with project intake and execution, and assists with preparing PowerPoint and Excel documents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend client meetings, summarize key action items, and gather documents and information for attorney analysis<\/li>\n<li>Conduct basic legal research and communicate results<\/li>\n<li>Draft documents and communications with oversight<\/li>\n<li>Summarize relevant basic legal and business issues and update attorney\/paralegal<\/li>\n<li>Distribute documents for review as required<\/li>\n<li>Obtain necessary approvals and signatures<\/li>\n<li>Validate current processes and identify need for process change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education: current law student<\/li>\n<li>Years of experience: 0-3 years<\/li>\n<li>Proficient\u00a0computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Professional, and other web-based applications (including but not limited to Westlaw and other legal research tools)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing, researching, proofreading, and formatting skills<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn Firm\u2019s case management software<\/li>\n<li>Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information<\/li>\n<li>High degree of ethics and integrity<\/li>\n<li>Able to identify inconsistencies in routine work and initiate corrective action within own workflow<\/li>\n<li>Able to deliver results with a sense of urgency<\/li>\n<li>Adapts well to change;
