This list is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY, and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasks: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Represents the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation in all criminal, juvenile, dependency and\/or comparable actions;<\/li>\n<li>Represents the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation in all appeals of all criminal and juvenile actions;<\/li>\n<li>Prosecutes violations of tribal laws and ordinances and negotiates plea agreements;<\/li>\n<li>Effective Representation, Contractor shall provide effective legal representation of the Nation including, but not limited to;<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of the Fort<\/li>\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned or required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>POSITION STATUS: Contract on Case by Case basis.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>OPEN DATE: <\/strong>June 2, 2016<br \/>\n<strong>CLOSE DATE: Open Until Filled<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>SUBMIT APPLICATION TO: <\/strong>APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE ONLINE AT www.ftmcdowell.org<\/p>\n<p>Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Human Resources Department Attn: Recruiter P O Box 17779 Fountain Hills, AZ 85269 Phone: 480-789-7118 Fax: 480-816-0419<\/p>\n<p><strong>INDIAN PREFERENCE: <\/strong> Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes.
