The firm seeks an Associate Attorney with two or more years of experience and the following qualifications:
\n\u2022 Relevant experience in the firm\u2019s practice areas;
\n\u2022 Excellent legal writing and research skills;
\n\u2022 Demonstrated understanding of tribal and federal Indian law and of native communities;
\n\u2022 Demonstrated commitment to working for tribes and tribal organizations;
\n\u2022 Willingness and ability to work on Indian Child Welfare matters for the firm\u2019s clients in California, including occasional overnight travel;
\n\u2022 Superior communication skills; and,
\n\u2022 Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar (or if licensed in another state, with the expectation that the candidate will promptly become admitted in California).<\/p>\n
