Communications and Media Affairs Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is recruiting for the position of Communications and Media Affairs Specialist, GS-13, in four locations throughout the U.S. \u00a0 One of the positions will be filled in GSA&#8217;s Northwest\/Arctic Region in Auburn, WA, and we are asking for your help in sharing this exciting opportunity with anyone you know who may be interested and qualified.\u00a0 The annual salary range for this position is $90,284 to $117,374 based on the selectee&#8217;s qualifications and Federal pay provisions.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">About GSA<\/span>: \u00a0GSA&#8217;s Northwest\/Arctic Region serves customers primarily located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska, helping them access work space, telecommunications, information technology, vehicles, and thousands of other goods and services.\u00a0 We manage over 100 buildings, 400 leases, and $10.2 billion in annual purchases on behalf of our customers.\u00a0 For more information about GSA, please visit our\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gsa.gov\/\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Job Description<\/span>: \u00a0The individual selected for this position will assist in the administration of public, media, educational and community information.\u00a0 These programs contributed toward public understanding of GSA programs and policies in the Region.\u00a0 The candidate should have experience in the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Media\u00a0<\/span>&#8211;\u00a0write and edit news releases, public information statements, or any other materials needed to answer media inquiries<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Public information\u00a0<\/span>&#8211;\u00a0write fact sheets, brochures, key messages, FAQs, and other materials for public distribution<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Stakeholders<\/span>\u00a0&#8211;
