\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u201cCelebrating the Past – Looking toward the Future\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Since the 1988 creation of the Indian Legal Program at\u00a0Arizona State University\u2019s Sandra Day O\u2019Connor College\u00a0of Law, more than 300 students representing more than\u00a095 tribes throughout the country have earned law degrees\u00a0and gone on to serve their communities, governments and\u00a0to work in the private sector. The Hon. William C. Canby Jr.,\u00a0a judge on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, was the\u00a0first of many distinguished ILP faculty members that today\u00a0includes seven professors and numerous faculty associates.\u00a0For more than 25 years, the ILP has facilitated an unrivaled\u00a0awareness and understanding of federal Indian law through\u00a0curriculum, student engagement, public education programs\u00a0and symposiums.<\/p>\n
