\nand tribal entities in a wide spectrum of services including business
\ntransactions, litigation and governmental affairs, in many forums, including
\nstate, federal, and tribal courts.<\/p>\n

We are seeking an experienced litigation attorney for our Omaha, Nebraska
\noffice. Minimum qualifications include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school<\/p>\n

\u2022 Status as an active member in good standing of the bar with any state
\njurisdiction<\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum of three to five years of federal or state litigation experience or
\nserved as a law clerk to a federal district court judge<\/p>\n

\u2022 Legal experience in tribal and Federal Indian law<\/p>\n

\u2022 Excellent analytical, research and writing abilities<\/p>\n

\u2022 Ability to work well independently and as a team in a fast paced environment<\/p>\n

In addition to the minimum qualifications, it is strongly preferred that
\napplicants possess the following skills:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Litigating or trying cases in federal or state courts or in administrative
\nproceedings<\/p>\n

\u2022 Preparing pleadings and briefs, taking and defending discovery, conducting
\nhearings and litigating the action or proceeding through trial<\/p>\n

\u2022 Knowledge of, and skill applying various state or Federal Rules of Civil
\nProcedure and Rules of Evidence<\/p>\n

\u2022 Taking depositions and\/or conducting other examinations of witnesses<\/p>\n

\u2022 Effectively communicating with opposing counsel, co-counsel and
\nfederal\/state\/tribal agency representatives<\/p>\n
