Directs all department personnel in duties assigned for the representation of Community members facing criminal, juvenile, and\/or traffic charges before the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Community (SRPMIC) Tribal Court.  This is treated as an FLSA exempt job class.<\/p>\n<p>Qualification: :   Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Juris Doctorate degree and three (3) years of experience in the practice of law, which includes general administrative experience.  Must have knowledge of the Indian Civil Rights Act, and a working knowledge of Tribal governments and the Tribal Court system. Knowledge of social and economic conditions of tribal communities and governments desirable.<\/p>\n<p>Special Requirements : Membership and good standing in the AZ BAR is required.
